Guidelines for submission of abstracts

Summary reports on research work, overview reports on conference topics in Vietnamese and English (The summary form can be viewed in the attached file or at the conference's website).

• Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings
• All abstracts should be submitted to the Conference by email or by following the link:

ABSTRACT GUIDE

1. General formatting

• An abstract file should be presented in Microsoft Word format with Times New Roman in 12 pt font.
• No tab stops at the beginning of the paragraph.
• No literature citations should be included in the abstract.
• Refer to the abstract sample to clarify the instructions.

2. Title

• The title conveys the main topic of the research and normally includes the principal results.
• It should be concise, descriptive, grammatically correct, and all capital letters.

3. Author names

• Each author should be listed as follows: first name, middle initial (if desired), and last name.
• Do not use titles (Dr.) or degrees (Ph.D.).
• The appropriate department/school superscript should be listed after each author.
• The corresponding author should provide the contact information (Email, Phone,…) and indicate by an asterisk after the superscript.

4. Author department and school affiliation

• List each author's department and school, including city/state/province and country/region.
• Begin each department and school affiliation with a different numbered superscript.
• If the affiliation is the same for multiple authors, one entry and superscript should be used.

5. Abstract body and keywords

An abstract should be in one paragraph with no more 350 words, describing the major aspects of the entire paper in a prescribed sequence that includes: 1) Introduction: The overall purpose of the study and the research problem(s) you investigated; 2) Objective(s): The outcomes that you aim to achieve by conducting research; 3) Method: The basic design of the study; 4) Results: Major findings or trends found as a result of your analysis; and, 5) Conclusions: a brief summary of your interpretations and conclusions.

Keywords should be 5 words or phrases or less that you feel capture the most important aspects of your paper.
